Dr Michael Hurrell

Dr Michael Hurrell provides care alongside Dr Leon Smith in the Northern Territory. He accepts patients for the full range of oral and maxillofacial services.
Dr Michael Hurrell obtained dental, medical and PhD degrees from the University of Queensland and has published research internationally.
During his surgical training he has worked at various locations in Queensland and Western Australia, including Royal Brisbane Hospital, Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth Children’s Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Michael has a keen interest in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including dental extractions, bone grafting, dental and facial implants, severe facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, head and neck cancer resection and reconstruction, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, salivary gland disease, cleft lip and palate surgery and obstructive sleep apnoea surgery.
